An exciting new opportunity for our creative learners
We recently hosted BritAsia for a day of interviews who had places on their 12-week Digital Upskill Bootcamp to offer.
This Skills Bootcamp is designed for those who want to expand their digital skills so that they feel confident to take their first step into the digital industry.
For learners who first joined us through the Shard End Performing Arts course and have since seen their skills and confidence grow, this is another exciting opportunity. The course has already opened many doors, ranging from applications to acting schools, teaching in their communities and even pursuing careers in media and production.
The course offers hands-on learning, mentorship and a guaranteed interview on completion or a grant for those pursuing the entrepreneurship route so they can invest in equipment and build their creative careers.
We spoke to Le Roya, another learner who previously completed our video editing course and is currently learning photography editing. After finishing her video editing course, she applied for a role on TikTok but was unsuccessful. Le Roya then tried to continue her studies at a local college but was unable to enrol due to age restrictions. She is very interested in the course saying,
”I know I will leave with experience and a portfolio”
This BritAsia Bootcamp is a perfect route, giving her the chance to gain experience, build a strong portfolio and take the next step toward employment in the creative industry.
