Find My Future is our new careers and work skills programme. We aim to make sure all our learners can make informed choices and have the skills they need to successfully enter the workplace.
What is Find my Future?
When it comes to the future, there are many choices. From an apprenticeship, to college, to university, to straight into work. Find My Future is a programme to help you make informed decisions.
What’s included?
Route to Work, short courses, networking events, and tailored careers advice give you the chance to learn skills and explore options. Even if you know the destination, Find My Future is there for support and direction.
How will you benefit?
On the programme you will learn skills for study, work, and life, such as problem-solving and communication, as well as practical tips. We also run job preparation workshops throughout the year to support you with writing CVs, job applications and preparing for interviews.
Networking
There are networking opportunities throughout the year, giving you the chance to make connections: Meet colleges, universities and employers and start building relationships that can open doors to a career.
Support available
For one-to-one advice, we have the Careers team. They provide expert insight into the job market and the skills you will need to succeed. You can book a meeting at any time by completing a webform, or if you prefer, talk to your teacher or centre staff and they will help you.
