Achieve your goals and aspirations
We provide all our learners with the support they need during their studies so that they can reach their full potential.
We view you as a unique individual with different personal goals and ambitions that motivate and inspire you. We ensure you have the best learning experience possible and you are successful in acquiring the skills and qualifications you need for your future.
Supporting your learning
Our staff are highly-trained and able to help you find the right study programme for you to achieve your ambitions. The Learner Services Team is here to provide assistance if you encounter any learning difficulties, such as dyslexia, autism, sight / hearing impairment, physical disabilities, or any other challenges that may impact your academic success.
Support with additional learning needs
Depending on your needs, you can receive: support from a Learning Support Assistant, an assessment to see if you would benefit from extra time or other arrangements in exams, equipment to help you access a classroom or computer, and British Sign Language interpretation service.
Financial support
We can support you with: travel costs, class materials and learning resources, IT equipment, or childcare costs.
Other support
The BAES Community Hub provides information and advice about a wide range of subjects such as personal finance, and health & wellbeing. We can also provide support to improve your attendance, give guidance with study skills and provide support to develop your IT and computer skills. If more specialist information, advice and guidance is needed, we can signpost you to other organisations offering support.
