It’s easier than ever to learn – and for most people it is free

We have many courses at all levels available at centres across Birmingham. Still, if you prefer, you can learn from home in a virtual classroom with resources tailored to online learning. Please note that you will need good IT skills and a reliable internet connection to get the most out of online learning.

We offer a variety of part-time maths courses from Functional Skills at Entry level to GCSE, available during the day, in the evenings, and on Saturdays.

Studying for a GCSE

Please be aware that GCSE maths has a two-tier system: a Foundation tier (Grade 1 to Grade 5) and a Higher tier (Grade 3 to Grade 9). We will advise you on which tier is best for you after you have carried out a GCSE initial assessment.

Fast-track courses: get qualified quicker

If you already have established maths skills but need to gain a Level 2 qualification quickly these courses are perfect. In addition to attending sessions once a week, our fast-track course requires you to access online learning resources between sessions to conduct independent study.
