How to enrol onto one of our courses
We are here to help you achieve your learning and life goals!
We want to make sure that your learning experience with us is a positive one. To achieve this we have in place an admissions process to quickly find out about your current level of skills. We will also want to find out about your education history and previous achievements. This way we can find the right course at the right level for you so that you have the greatest chance to succeed.
For course information please check our fees, times and venue location in our course brochure.
However please note course details may need to change since publication. Up-to-date information on when, where and how your course will delivered and how to access your course on our Virtual Learning Environment will be confirmed with you during the assessment and enrolment process.
How to join a course
1. Contact the Admissions Team
Whichever method you choose one of the admissions team will get back to you as soon as we can to arrange and book an initial assessment or if appropriate to enrol you directly onto the course of your choice.
2. Ask any questions you may have about the course
Find out more about the course content and if you will be able to attend. What sort of things will you be learning? Where, when and how often does the class take place? How much will it cost?
3. Check you meet the course entry requirements
Is it the right level course for you? If you want to join a qualification course you will need to complete an initial assessment to check that your maths, English, or subject knowledge are at the right level for you to succeed.
If no initial assessment is needed you can enrol straightaway.
4. If required, book an initial assessment
We will find and book you onto an initial assessment at a time and venue that is most convenient for you. You will be advised on how long the assessment will take and anything else that you will be expected to do on the day.
5. Complete an initial assessment
If you have any additional needs or difficulties please inform the assessor before you start your assessment so we can provide any support you may need. After you have finished the assessment we will discuss your results with you and help you to find a suitable course.
6. Get ready to start your new course
A few weeks before your course starts we will email you more details about your course, supply your BAES learner account ID, and a reminder of when and where you course starts. A few days before your course begins we will send you a text message to welcome you to your course.
